Many regard this as one of the worst taco shops in San Diego. There have been several reports of sickness after eating there.

I disagree about it being bad. It's pretty awesome, and the portions are humongous. This is the taco shop on my block I eat at exclusively after a bad experience with a punk ass cashier at the other taco shop I wont name but that you can figure out which one. The sauce is bitchin'. I agree with the tranny taco combo comment, but that shouldn't make it a place to avoide after two am on the walk home from the bar - to the contrary, its a rare glimpse into North Park's seedy underbelly. It's fascinating, and the food is great. Sometimes the dudes will take advantage of your drunkenness and charge extra for a few items, but when they do they actually really hook the shit up, so it's actually worth it. The California Combo at $4.25 is great, just make sure to specify if you want cheese. Dinner and free entertainment for under $5 is great, especially when you're all fucked up at 4:30 am and the food's still warm.
